It will be a memorable way for your hard-working team members to enjoy themselvesand bring them back to the nostalgia of being a kid again!
First, spread the word! Post on company bulletin boards and email the team- let people know and get them excited! Clearly state date and start/stop time so no one will miss out! Make sure your colleagues know the main purpose of the event - thanking dedicated employees.
Before the day of the event, decide on the best place for us to park! An open area where team members can mingle and stand or sit to chat in the shade with a cone afterwards is perfect! Strategically placed trash cans will also help everything keep neat and tidy. Don't forget about safety measures when planning your event! Coning off walkways or making sure there are no trip hazards can increase everyone's enjoyment & peace of mind.
If you have shifts or a popular lunch time, consider staggering breaks or letting people know they can come later and the truck will still be filled with goodies. This will ensure that everyone can enjoy their delicious frozen treats without any long wait times as usually there’s a big rush at the beginning of service!
And don’t forget the night shift! If you have team members working around the clock, we can package and leave extra servings for them in the break room freezer! Or even better the truck can come back for their break and make sure they know they are just as appreciated as everyone on day shift!
